Albo restoration did an incredible job on my Toyota FJ cruiser truck headliner. My original headliner had a crushed corner and a hole in it. There talented team pulled the liner, rebuilt the corner, fixed the hole, put it all back together and made it look like new. Such a great job!!! Irene is a joy to work with and I enjoyed our conversations. I absolutely can't recommend them enough !

Irene and staff at Albo did a great job of fixing and restoring my stationary exercise bike seat. It’s as good as new and Irene turned around this job in one day! I highly recommend this company!

Had the front seat of the BMW convertible reupholstered with leather. Each of the arm rests also received new leather - the doors and the middle. The work is exceptional!!! Irene is a charm to work with and her partner has a perfect eye for color matching. He cleaned and updated the color on the passenger leather seat. The imperfections are completely gone. Fabulous.  Albo is the place to have replacement or custom work done. THANK YOU!!

I bought a used Chrysler Town & Country, the leather on the driver's seat was torn, the dealer said he would get it fixed. After three months dealer did nothing, his "guy" never returned their calls, I told the dealer I would get it fixed and he agreed to pay for it. I got two estimates and one was from Albo Restoration, they were $50.00 higher than the other estimate, but I decided on Albo because I was impressed by how professional and friendly they were. They did a great job, I am very happy. I am giving the dealer Albo's name & phone number because they answer the phone, not like the dealer's "guy".

The side bolster on the driver’s seat of my 5 year old Subaru developed a wear crack. Albo rebuilt the bolster with new material and foam so well that it’s absolutely indistinguishable from the original. The new foam makes the seat a little more comfortable which is a nice, unexpected  plus. Excellent work at a fair price. I wouldn’t hesitate a moment to use them again or recommend them to my best friend.

I took in my 2007 TL to get a bit of custom work and repairs on my seats and I'm blown away by the quality of work that Irene and her team have done. They have fair prices and are the best upholstery shop in the Lake/Cook county area in my opinion. Irene gave me a time as to how long everything would take and they definitely stick to their deadline which is awesome. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely be taking my future projects to Irene.

In 2018 I brought my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire in to have the headliner replaced. The materials that Albo Restoration used was perfect!  Irene talked me through the process and price. The vehicle was promised on the day she said. They did a beautiful job. I would recommend them to everyone.

I had an excellent experience with Albo restorations.  They recovered my front seat in my 2005 Chevy Silverado.  The workmanship far exceeded my expectations, the leather matched perfectly, and the final cost was exactly as I was quoted.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to repair auto upholstery in the Greater Chicago area?

Arrow icon

Repair costs would depend on the scale of the repair to be made and the type of fabric you’ll use. Therefore, there are no fixed price rates. You should expect to spend anything from $100 to a thousand dollars or more on quality auto upholstery repair.

What is the average time it takes to reupholster a car interior?

Arrow icon

Again, this would depend on how much reupholstering needs to be done. Expect the service provider to spend anything from a few days to a whole week to complete the reupholstering process.

How do I clean the new auto upholstery?

Arrow icon

You can vacuum the floor if the automobile is large enough to allow for vacuuming. You can also use a bit of professional cleaner that we recommend when you visit. Never try to clean an ink stain yourself though, you will only make it worse.
